Privacy notice

This notice explains what the office does with the information you give it when you submit a request. It is written to be read, not to protect the office.
What we collect
Your full name, your phone number, where you live (governorate, district and town), your civil-registry number and place as written on your ID, the details of your request, and any files you choose to attach. Your email address only if you give one — it is optional. Nothing else is asked for, and the form has no account, no password and no tracking.
Why we hold it
So that the department handling your request can read it, act on it, and reach you about it. The office also counts requests by area and by outcome, without names, to see which regions it is helping and where more effort is needed. Those are the only purposes.
Who can see it
Only the staff of the department your request is sent to, and the administrator of the system. A member of staff in one department cannot see another department's requests. Every time someone opens one of your attachments, that is recorded.
Your IP address
The form records a one-way scrambled form of your network address to stop automated abuse. It cannot be turned back into your address, and it is never shown to staff.
How long we keep it
The record of your request is kept so the office can answer questions about it later. Attached files are deleted automatically after the period the office has set, counted from the day a decision is made on your request.
Who we share it with
Nobody, except where the office needs to pass your request to a ministry or public institution in order to act on it — which is the reason you submitted it. Your information is not sold, not used for advertising, and not shared with any analytics company.
Your rights
You can ask the office what it holds about you, ask for a correction, or ask for your request to be withdrawn. Call the office or come in, and bring the reference number if you have it.
Cookies
The public pages of this site set no cookies at all. A cookie is used only when a member of staff signs in to the administration area, to keep them signed in.
